Icy Sunset

Following an early snow today the lake looked beautifully white this afternoon. There were lots of families out together enjoying the snow. The birds seem to be managing well. The  squirrels have found an advantage of the conditions i that they can now just walk across the ice to get to the island instead oftheir normal route of jumping from tree to tree.
Forecast is for 10cm (4 inches) tomorrow.
